To My Child

 

The unconditional love sentiment from a mother to her child is universal and transferable to any situation and circumstance that may arise.  From the simple, baby’s first steps, to the union of your child to another, the ties that bind are stronger than any ‘100 mph tape’ developed by man.  The thought of my child deploying erupted a wave of emotions in my soul - fear, hope, pain and an insurmountable love flooded me.  From these emotions, To My Child, was birthed…

To My Country

 

Many people believe that the Soldiers are committed to the fight, when in reality they are first and foremost, and oftentimes exclusively, committed to their country and their duty to serve. This commitment transcends political belief, personal sentiment and everything in between - it is for the red, white and blue and the safety of us all that they fight.
