I went out with the book for the first time this past weekend. Oh what a feeling !! It was not the great sales that made my day, nor the constant state of euphoria I found myself at the reality of what I was doing. No, the ultimate high was seeing the goosebumps rise on the arms of women and men and the wave of redness that began at the necks of big strong soldiers and would rise to make their noses look like rudolph when they read parts of a piece. Those images give me chills even now - days later.

Those immediate and heartfelt responses touched me in a way I would never have imagined, especially since I would never have imagined touching others in such a profound way. And to have been able to connect with hundreds of people in that way was incredible and I have to thank them all. Thanks to the people who bought the book and to those who took a minute just to hear about the “Realities of A Soldier At War”. Thank you.
